Thanks so much to our head cowgirl Cindy Mayfield and her wonderful assistants...Ann-Denise and Jennifer and Sandra....those are the ones I know helped..there may be more that I am not aware of  but these women can put on a shindig!!! and a Vintage Prom. I don''t even know where to start with all the pictures I have....so bear with me and I will try to give you a glimpse of PC from my eyes!

First of all some of my favorite friends came and took classes and stayed at the Hampton Inn with me. Marsha came in from Kentucky! My dear friend since 7th grade Kathy drove up for a couple of classes. My daughters mother-in-law and fellow painter Mauveline took 3 classes. My friend Carie and her friend Julie came in from Hubbard. And last but not least my fellow altered artist friend Judy came in from Mansfield.

Our first event was at the Doves Nest where we all met and swapped tokens for our name badges, swapped our swaps, ate, shopped, and had a speaker Lisa Pace.

My sidekick Marsha from Kentucky aka Marsha! Marsha! Marsha! is gearing up to to help me out with the class. Right now she is designing some business cards for me! If you are taking my class you are going to have a funtastic time...be sure and ask Marsha about the keys on the luggage tags!

Photo albums

I have had a few photo album orders in the last couple of months...here are some that I have done.
Actually the Gavin one was for my newest grandson and the wedding one was a weding gift for my niece.

TIE DYING FUN!

I went to HubbardFirst Baptist Church a couple of Wednesday nights ago and did a tie dying session with the G.A.'s, R.A's and Mission Friends. Everybody had a great time and showed how creative they can be.  My friend Carie asked me if I would come and do shirts with the mission groups...she was wanting something they would be proud to wear and that also declared He IS Risen!  I love working with kids and this group was fantastic . It is always so much fun to open the shirts up and see the eyes of the kids when they see what they have created! WE did over 50 shirts in a hour! Amazing!
I guess the best way to share this is with a few pictures of them doing their own shirts!

my newest grandson has arrived!

My newest grandson Gavin has arrived...he came into this world on March 28, 2011.  He stayed in the NICU for 10 days just getting out yesterday to go home. He just had a few little problems that the great nurses and Dr. Wheeler at Hillcrest Hospital took great care with. He is prefect in every way!

Now I am going to get back at my crafts and posting some of the stuff I have been making!

OMG! it has been a while!

I am back!

Let me catch you up a liitle bit on life...then I will show you some of the things I have been making over the last few years!

My youngest daughter is now married and expecting my 5th grandchild in about a month! My newest grandchild Gavin Michael will be here before you know it!

My grandson Cameron is 15, grandaughter Macie is 9, grandson Cason is 7, and Ryder is almost 5.

I now have a huge studio that my hubby built...it was supposed to be a big game room with my nice big art room on the side. Things kinda of evolved and now I have the whole thing...the pool table stayed but now converts to an art table too! There are lots of table for crafters ...but they can still be moved over for the grands to ride there scooters and battery operated car. Still has a TV area with futon and comfy couchs for sleeping when the oldest grand brings along a friend for the weekend! Also can be used as a great area for slumber parties for Macie! My nest is sooo blessed!

I Love My Church!

Just got home from church...this month I have been teaching in the K-1st grade childrens Sunday School. I love the excitement and energy of this age! I have been attending Journey Christian Community for a few years now. It is a non denominational church that has a deep heart for God and caters to a large variety of needs. I feel this is the most non judgemental church I have attended and you can feel the love when you come in!I'm  just praising and thanking God for the freedom we have to worship when and where and how we want in America. Thankful that we can pray to our creator without being chastized.  I  am soooo  blessed in my nest!

The above picture is of my cousins. Gloria and Margaret Leigh Moores and Aunt Maggie...circa early 1920's

A very Special Heartfelt Thank YOU!!!!!

First of all, I want to send heartfelt thanks to my precious friend Marsha Albee for putting my new blogspot together for me! Marsha is one of my greatest supporters! We have know each other for about 15 years now. I met Marsha when I was in Craft Gallery in Waco and she was the manager. We have had lots of fun adventures over the years! Marsha will be helping me in the Soldering class that I am doing at Paper Cowgirl 2011 in June. Marsha and I have created together, shopped together, laughed together, cried together and just had down right over the top fun together and can't wait to live in the same state to do it all over again! Thank you Marsha for being such a wonderful friend to me!
